History

Juice Drinks

From the citrus groves of the Mediterranean to the tropical plantations of South America and Asia, people have been enjoying the refreshing and nutritious properties of juice for centuries. Today, juice-based drinks remain one of the most popular and consumed products in the beverage market. Whether you are looking for a healthy and hydrating beverage after a long day’s work, or a refreshing juice-based cocktail to sip with friends, the experts here at Flavorman are ready to help you create the perfect juice that makes your customers want to sit back, relax, and reach for your product!

Key Considerations

  1. Separation, color, and flavor changes are the most common problems when creating a beverage formulation that includes juice.
  2. Another common problem with developing a juice-infused product is the propensity for the beverage’s color to fade more quickly over time, compared to other products. Creating packaging that is light resistant can decelerate the speed of juice’s fading effects.
  3. Extra steps may be necessary to produce, store, and ship juice-based products, such as pasteurizing products to ensure the highest quality for consumers to enjoy.
  4. The concentration of juice in a beverage product is required to be labeled on the product’s packaging. Products that are promoted as 100% juice come directly from fruits that have been juiced, without additives.
