Flavorman Employees put on their gloves to help clean up the Park Hill Neighborhood

In May, Flavorman employees and hundreds of Park Hill residents and other business employees joined efforts to spruce up the neighborhood in which we live and work. This was the first year for the cleanup and the turnout was impressive. The event was organized to help clean up the Park Hill Neighborhood and Business Corridor in West Louisville. More than 20 area business and church groups helped clean up the Park Hill Neighborhood. Flavorman employees were assigned a 6 square block area that took 4 hours to clean. Between the eleven participating Flavormen/women we collected over 25 bags of trash. The trash we found was both gross and interesting; from dirty diaper’s to gardening tools. It was so rewarding to see the immediate impact of our collective effort. Equally as rewarding was the delicious food provided by sponsors, Fazoli’s and KFC. The clean neighborhood we came back to on Monday morning was well worth the back aches and farmers tan’s we got from the day of picking up trash. Many thanks to the Park Hill Business Association, who organized the event and everyone who participated for making the event such a success.
