Although the name Pro-Liquitech was near and dear to Dave's heart (he has a tattoo of the original Pro-Liquitech logo on his chest), the company officially decided to start doing business as Flavorman in 2008.

After emerging from Miami University (Ohio) with a zoology degree, Dave started his beverage development career at Fries & Fries (now Givaudan) and would later move on to Brown-Forman to develop long-standing classics, like Jack Daniel's Country Cocktails.
