The Original Party Punch

BeatBox, a spirited venture hailing from Austin, Texas, sought the expertise of Flavorman's Beverage Architects to craft four distinctive flavored wines, housed in vibrant, neon-colored packaging reminiscent of iconic beat boxes. With a harmonious blend of cutting-edge flavors and a bold, vibrant character, BeatBox is a prime example of how Flavorman wields the creativity of our clients.

In 2014, the BeatBox team made their national television debut on ABC's "Shark Tank," marking a significant milestone in their journey. Co-founders Justin Fenchel, Aimy Steadman, and Brad Schultz sought a $250,000 investment in exchange for a 10% equity stake in their company. The outcome exceeded expectations as they secured an astounding million-dollar deal with the renowned investor Mark Cuban, who secured a one-third share of BeatBox Beverages. Cuban succinctly captured the essence of their brand, declaring, "You guys don't sell wine, you sell fun."

This success story of BeatBox on "Shark Tank" underscores the power of a well-executed beverage concept, and our team was thrilled to have played a role in bringing this vision to life. When three ambitious students from the University of Texas approached Flavorman a couple of years ago, we were passionate about turning their Dream Drink into a reality.

At the time, they envisioned a wine-based RTD product, but were unsure which ingredients and flavors would work best for their formulation. Leveraging our expertise, we articulated the project parameters and identified multiple flavors aligned with their brand: cranberry limeade, sweet tea, razzberry lemonade, and box a'rita.

This venture is a testament to Flavorman's ethos since 1992, as we've always had a passion for collaborating with striking startups. As BeatBox has grown and evolved over the years, this success story continues to resonate for the brand's playful approach and innovation in the beverage industry. We are simply happy to have been a tool in their success!

Mark Cuban

"I invested in BeatBox because, at heart, I'm a 25-year-old, and I saw that this is going to be a party phenomenon."
